First Apparel Manufacturing Boot Camp Delivery

Front and back view of the coat produced at the apparel manufacturing boot camp in Albuquerque’s sewing factory.
At this late date, I realize that I never posted photos of the coat delivery. Before I forget, if you’re interested in the technical end of it, to include an explanation of the quality and safety features we designed into each coat. see Design of the Child’s Coat -Apparel Manufacturing Boot Camp, Fall 2015.
As I was; the packaging and inventory control ended up being more work than we imagined.
Here is a photo of our Project Manager hauling coats out of the sewing factory.
Here are the coats loaded in the back of the pick up truck in preparation for the 90 mile trip to deliver them.
Carrying the coats in the door of the Nacimiento Community Foundation, we’re welcomed in English, Spanish, and Navajo.

It’s not a secret where the coats went but in the interests of recipients’ privacy, toning it down a bit.
Last but not least, here is our Apparel Manufacturing Boot Camp Project Manager (right) alongside Beth Hamilton, director of the Nacimiento Community Foundation. Beth is handling distribution of the coats we’ve donated.
Kathleen, I’ve been following your blog for years, off and on 🙂 I’ve read and studied “the book”. I am so inspired by you and your journey and all those who’ve helped you. I hope your life is blessed with great goodness.
Hi there, lovely post as always, thanks for taking time to write it… honestly I only commented to let you know that the first link is broken 🙂
Thanks so much for letting me know, sorry to have been a bit sloppy. The link is fixed now.
